The Black Crowes are keeping the rock and roll momentum alive. The legendary band has officially announced that their tenth studio album, "A Pound of Feathers," is scheduled for release on March 13, 2026. This new project marks a quick turnaround for the group, arriving just two years after their 2024 comeback record, Happiness Bastards.
Brothers Chris and Rich Robinson once again teamed up with producer Jay Joyce to helm the new sessions. Joyce, who is well-known for his work with artists like Eric Church and Miranda Lambert, also produced the band's previous studio effort. According to reports from Louder Sound and Ultimate Classic Rock, the collaboration aims to capture the same raw, blues-infused energy that defined the band's early career.
Fans have already received a preview of the upcoming record through two lead singles. "Profane Prophecy" and "Pharmacy Chronicles" are currently available on streaming platforms, showcasing the band's signature gritty sound. The official announcement from The Black Crowes confirms that the album will be available in multiple formats, including vinyl and digital, as they prepare for a busy 2026 touring season.
