AC/DC fans in Argentina received some concerning news this week. Rhythm guitarist Stevie Young was admitted to a hospital in Buenos Aires on Thursday, March 19, after feeling unwell. According to reports from The Washington Post and La Nación, the musician was hospitalized just days before the legendary band was set to begin the next leg of their "Power Up" world tour.
The band acted quickly to update the public on Young's condition. In a report by Ultimate Classic Rock, the group confirmed that the 69-year-old guitarist was admitted as a precautionary measure and is currently undergoing a full series of tests. Despite the medical detour, the band assured fans through a statement that Young is doing well and remains in "good spirits" while under observation.

As of now, the rock icons have no plans to delay their schedule. AC/DC is still set to take the stage at the Estadio River Plate starting Monday, March 23. The Guardian reports that Young is expected to join bandmates Angus Young and Brian Johnson for the sold-out performances as planned. No dates have been postponed or canceled following the hospital visit.
