Rock legend Alice Cooper has officially found the newest member of his touring family. British guitarist Anna Cara, just 22 years old, is set to join the lineup for the upcoming 'Welcome To Our Nightmare' residency in Las Vegas. The shows are scheduled to kick off on April 2, 2026, marking a major milestone for the young musician as she steps onto one of rock's most theatrical stages.
Cara is stepping in to fill the void left by long-time shredder Nita Strauss, who is currently on maternity leave. Strauss has already given her public blessing to the newcomer, endorsing Cara as the perfect choice to handle her demanding guitar parts. Before landing this high-profile gig, Cara built an impressive resume working with Krokus vocalist Marc Storace and current Alice Cooper guitarist Tommy Henriksen.

The announcement has sparked excitement across the rock community, with Cooper praising Cara’s energy and technical precision. In reports shared by Ultimate Classic Rock and Eddie Trunk, the rock icon noted that Cara’s style fits perfectly with the band's classic sound. Cara also expressed her enthusiasm for the role, calling the opportunity to play alongside Cooper a career-defining moment as the tour begins its run at the start of April.
