Robyn has officially ended her eight-year hiatus with the release of her ninth studio album, Sexistential, on March 27, 2026. Released via Young and Konichiwa Records, the nine-track project marks a sharp departure from the minimalist club sounds of 2018's Honey. Instead, the 46-year-old artist has reunited with longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund to return to the soaring, arpeggiated synths that defined her 2010 Body Talk era.
The album features the return of pop architect Max Martin, who co-wrote "Talk to Me" and the closer "Into the Sun." According to The Guardian, the record is a "profoundly personal" exploration of Robyn’s life as a single mother. In the title track, Robyn raps about dating while 10 weeks pregnant following IVF treatment. "Exploring my sensual life is the same feeling as when I make a good song," Robyn told Lampoon Magazine, adding that she believes "the purpose of my life is to stay horny."

Sexistential also includes "Blow My Mind," a reimagining of her 2002 track now dedicated to her three-year-old son, and the lead single "Dopamine," which features co-writing credits from Taio Cruz and Elvira Anderfjärd. To celebrate the launch, Robyn performed an intimate set at London’s Hackney Empire on March 26. The singer has already announced a world tour beginning in November 2026, with confirmed arena dates at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.
