Fans of FOX's hit competition series The Masked Singer were peeling back more than just layers of an onion last night, as the celebrity behind the Eggplant costume was finally revealed! In a surprising turn during the special 'Ozzfest Night' episode, it was none other than beloved actor and singer Jack Wagner who unmasked, leaving the judging panel stumped. The episode, which aired on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, paid a touching tribute to the late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and featured his daughter, Kelly Osbourne, as a special guest panelist.
Eggplant delivered an energetic performance of Linkin Park's "One Step Closer," aiming to keep their identity hidden. However, after landing in the bottom two, Eggplant faced off against High Voltage in a dramatic 'OzzFest Royale' sing-off, performing Black Sabbath's iconic "Iron Man." Ultimately, the panelists — Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora — chose to save High Voltage, leading to Eggplant's unmasking. Despite a range of guesses from the judges, including Rick Springfield and Alice Cooper, none correctly identified Wagner.
Jack Wagner, 66, has graced screens for decades, rising to fame as Frisco Jones on General Hospital in the 1980s. Beyond his soap opera success, which also includes roles on Melrose Place, The Bold and the Beautiful, and When Calls the Heart, Wagner is also a successful musician. His 1985 hit single, "All I Need," soared to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. His reveal adds another unexpected name to the list of stars who have competed in Season 14 of The Masked Singer.
