Miami’s own DJ Epps is officially celebrating his 50th birthday today, April 4, 2026. The longtime Rock the Bells Radio host, who has become a staple of LL Cool J’s SiriusXM channel, isn’t just blowing out candles; he is launching a multi-project celebration that spans music, literature, and travel.
To kick off the festivities, Epps has released a brand-new single titled “Real Ninjas” featuring Ty Nitti. Fans can also look forward to a deep dive into his three-decade career with his upcoming autobiography, The Story of DJ Epps. The book promises to detail his journey from local Miami turntablist to a national radio personality on one of hip-hop's biggest platforms.
The party continues later this year when DJ Epps sets sail for the Rock the Bells Cruise to Jamaica in November 2026. Epps will serve as a host for the voyage, which brings hip-hop legends and fans together on the high seas. "I’m just getting started," Epps told WSVN 7News during a recent segment regarding his career milestones.
