Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, the Grammy-winning artist known as Doja Cat, is opening up about the life she almost led. In a new cover story for the April issue of Vogue, the "Agora Hills" singer shared that if she weren’t topping the charts, she would likely be a psychologist. She told writer Maya Singer that her fascination with the human mind has been a driving force throughout her life.
The revelation comes as the artist discusses her personal journey with mental health. She confirmed to the magazine that she has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). She credits consistent therapy with helping her manage the condition and move away from "unhealthy habits" that previously affected her well-being and her perspective on her career.

The high-fashion spread, captured by photographer Carlijn Jacobs, showcases a more introspective side of the star. While her music career remains her primary focus, Doja Cat noted that her own positive experiences in treatment gave her a deep appreciation for the clinical field. For now, the star plans to continue channeling her complex emotions into her music rather than a private practice.
