James Gunn just gave DC fans a major reason to check their feeds. The DC Studios co-CEO shared a brief teaser for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, confirming the full trailer drops today, March 31, 2026. The sneak peek features Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, offering a gritty first look at her journey across the stars.
The teaser caught immediate attention thanks to a surprise appearance by David Corenswet as Superman. In the short clip, Clark Kent is seen contacting his cousin, Kara, to check in on her progress. While the Man of Steel looks his usual heroic self, Alcock’s Supergirl appears to be in the middle of a chaotic and messy cosmic battle, signaling a shift in tone for the character.

Directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, the film is a direct adaptation of the popular Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic series by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. Gunn has previously noted that this version of Supergirl is "much more hardcore" than previous iterations. Fans won't have to wait much longer for the full experience, as the film is officially scheduled to hit theaters on June 26, 2026.
