Jessi Draper is setting the record straight about her high-profile split. During a Wednesday appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star shared shocking details about her marriage to Jordan Ngatikaura. Draper told host Alex Cooper that her relationship was built on deception, alleging that Ngatikaura consistently utilized escorts throughout their time together.
The Hulu star also leveled serious accusations of blackmail against her estranged husband. Draper claimed that Ngatikaura threatened to leak private text messages to her family and business partners unless she paid him a significant sum of money. She described the situation as a cycle of emotional abuse, telling Cooper, "He was holding my life over my head to get what he wanted financially."
The legal battle between the two followed conflict that began in October 2024, with Ngatikaura officially filing for divorce in November. In his filing, he cited "irreconcilable differences" as the formal grounds for divorce. While Draper admitted to having a close friendship that provided emotional support, she maintained that the relationship never became physical and characterized Ngatikaura's private allegations as a calculated attempt to damage her reputation.
