The controversy unfolded under a video where Ruffalo was promoting the film Palestine 36. Beckinsale expressed her frustration directly to the Avengers star, noting that they shared the same agency, United Talent Agency (UTA). "It must be so nice not to be fired by your Agent for liking a post about a ceasefire and not supporting the murdering of children," Beckinsale wrote.
