Thirteen years after their scheduled appearance was canceled, Mumford & Sons have officially arrived at the NPR Music offices for their first-ever Tiny Desk Concert. Premiering today, March 25, 2026, the performance marks a major milestone for the band as they showcase material from their sixth studio album, Prizefighter. The stripped-back set captures the raw energy that Marcus Mumford, Ted Dwane, and Ben Lovett have refined during the 13-year wait to perform behind the desk.
The four-song setlist balances fresh anthems with a nostalgic nod to the past. The band opened with a song from the new record, "I'll Tell You Everything," followed by the Sigh No More classic "White Blank Page." According to KRWG Public Media, the performance also featured the debut of "Badlands" and the foot-stomping "Rubber Band Man," highlighting the group’s signature blend of folk-rock and driving percussion.
This appearance in the series follows a decade of stadium tours, bringing the trio back to their acoustic roots. Fans have waited over a decade for this intimate appearance, which Northern Public Radio reports as the group's first-ever Tiny Desk showing, marking the end of a 13-year wait since October 2012. The concert is available to stream now on NPR.org and YouTube, coinciding with the global launch of the Prizefighter album cycle.
