The public is getting its first look at Justin Timberlake’s late-night encounter with police in the Hamptons. On Friday, March 20, 2026, the Sag Harbor Village Police Department released bodycam footage from the singer's June 18, 2024, DWI arrest. The release follows a legal back-and-forth where Timberlake’s team sought to block the video, eventually resulting in an agreement for a partially redacted version to be made public.
In the footage, which was detailed by TMZ and CBS News, the "Selfish" singer appears visibly stressed while performing field sobriety tests. At one point during the roadside stop, Timberlake tells the responding officers, "My heart's racing." As he attempts to follow instructions from the police, he is heard saying, "These are, like, hard tests," while appearing to struggle with his balance on the sidewalk.
The video also captures the moment Timberlake declined to take a Breathalyzer test after being pulled over in his 2025 BMW. This footage surfaces nearly two years after the initial incident, which concluded in September 2024 when Timberlake pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of driving while ability impaired. According to Globalnews.ca, the singer previously paid a $500 fine and completed 25 hours of community service as part of his plea deal.
