Norfolk is preparing for a golden celebration on the waterfront. The 50th Annual Norfolk Harborfest is set to take over Town Point Park from June 19 to June 21, 2026. This year’s milestone event features a powerhouse lineup of performers to anchor one of the nation's largest free maritime festivals along the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront.

Iconic soul singer Patti LaBelle will lead the musical roster, bringing her legendary voice to the main stage. Joining the "Godmother of Soul" are indie-pop favorites Fitz & the Tantrums and the soulful Southern rock sounds of JJ Grey & Mofro. These performances are scheduled to coincide with the Juneteenth Norfolk Celebration, adding deep cultural significance to the weekend festivities.

The 2026 edition is about more than just the music. Norfolk Festevents has confirmed that the festival will host Sail250® Virginia, a massive gathering of international tall ships and naval vessels. This landmark weekend combines history, maritime tradition, and top-tier entertainment to mark five decades of Harborfest in the City of Norfolk.
