Peacock is officially pivoting to a mobile-first future with a suite of new AI-powered features. This spring, the NBCUniversal streaming service will launch a beta for real-time vertical live streaming of NBA games. The experience uses specialized AI to automatically crop and optimize standard broadcasts into a 9:16 aspect ratio, allowing fans to watch live sports on their phones without rotating their screens.
The platform is also bringing a high-tech twist to reality television with "Your Bravoverse." Set to arrive this summer, the feature offers an AI-curated vertical video feed tailored to Bravo fans. To navigate the content, users will interact with an AI-generated avatar of Andy Cohen, who will guide them through personalized highlights and updates from the networkâs biggest hits.
In addition to these viewing upgrades, Peacock is expanding its digital footprint by launching new mobile games directly within the app. By blending live sports, AI-driven personalization, and interactive entertainment, Peacock is aiming to capture the attention of social media-savvy viewers who prefer vertical video consumption. The NBA beta begins this spring, with the full suite of "Your Bravoverse" features following in the summer.
