Samara Weaving is officially back in the wedding dress. Searchlight Pictures has confirmed that Ready or Not 2: Here I Come will premiere in theaters on March 20, 2026. Fans of the 2019 cult hit can expect the same blend of dark humor and intense horror that made the original a breakout success at the box office.
The sequel reunites the core creative team behind the first film. Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the duo known as Radio Silence, return to lead the project. Writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy have penned the new script, which finds Grace facing a fresh nightmare alongside her estranged sister, Faith. The stakes are higher this time as the pair find themselves hunted by rival families during another lethal game.
The original film was a major financial victory, earning $57.6 million globally on a modest $6 million production budget. Executive producers Chad Villella and the Radio Silence team are looking to replicate that success by leaning into the high-energy survival horror that fans loved. With the release date set for later this month, Weaving is poised to reclaim her title as one of the genre's most iconic modern leads.
