Get ready for a new dose of Montana drama! Taylor Sheridan, the acclaimed creator behind hits like Yellowstone, is set to premiere his latest series, The Madison, on Paramount+ this March. The six-episode season kicks off globally with its first three episodes on Saturday, March 14, 2026, followed by the final three on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
This new neo-Western series stars Oscar nominee Michelle Pfeiffer as Stacy Clyburn and Golden Globe nominee Kurt Russell as Preston Clyburn, leading an impressive ensemble cast. The story centers on the Clyburn family, who relocate from New York City to the Madison River valley in southwest Montana, seeking healing after a profound family tragedy. Paramount+ describes it as Sheridan's "most intimate work to date," exploring themes of grief and human connection.
While it shares the majestic Montana backdrop with the Yellowstone universe, The Madison is an original drama and not a direct spin-off. It was originally in development under the title 2024 before becoming the standalone narrative we're about to see. Directed by Emmy nominee Christina Alexandra Voros, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Sheridan, Pfeiffer, and Russell, the series promises a cinematic experience. Other notable cast members include Patrick J. Adams, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, and Will Arnett in a guest role.
