The wait for Yash’s massive return to the big screen just got a little longer. KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations officially announced that the pan-Indian action film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will no longer premiere on March 19, 2026. Instead, the film is now scheduled to hit theaters globally on June 4, 2026, a shift of nearly three months.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the project serves as Yash’s first major release since the record-breaking success of KGF: Chapter 2. Production sources cited by The Hollywood Reporter India indicate that rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East are the primary driver behind the delay. The region serves as a massive distribution hub for Indian cinema, and the current instability has made a synchronized global release logistically difficult for the producers.

The film boasts a high-profile cast including Kiara Advani and Nayanthara, making it one of the most expensive ventures currently in production. While the delay may frustrate fans, the producers emphasized that ensuring the safety and accessibility of the film for international audiences remains the top priority. Hindustan Times reports that the additional time will also allow the team to finalize the extensive post-production work required for the film’s grand scale.
