Universal Orlando Resort is already looking toward the future of its newest gate. Fresh aerial photography from @bioreconstruct, captured on April 4, 2026, confirms that mass grading is officially underway at the Epic Universe site. The activity signals the beginning of land preparation for expansion areas located to the southeast and northeast of the existing park boundaries.

According to reports from Universal Parks News Today and Today in Orlando, a fleet of dump trucks is currently active on the property. These vehicles are unloading massive quantities of sand to level the terrain, a critical step before any vertical construction can begin. This work follows the highly anticipated grand opening of the park, which took place on May 22, 2025.

While Universal Destinations & Experiences has not yet announced the specific attractions or lands destined for these expansion plots, the scale of the grading suggests significant plans are in motion. For now, the construction focus remains on stabilizing the soil and preparing the infrastructure for the resort's next major development phase in Florida.
