Titled "Sweats like this," the partnership officially launched with an original music video featuring a refreshed version of the artist's hit song, "WIGGY." The visual highlights the Puerto Rican rapper's effortless style while showcasing Gapās latest fleece essentials.
This collaboration sets a new precedent for the retail icon. According to a press release from Gap Inc., the campaign features the brandās first-ever commercial produced entirely in the Spanish language. By centering the Latin GRAMMY-nominated star, Gap is leaning into the massive global influence of Latin music and the cultural power of the Spanish-speaking market.
The campaign also breaks barriers for representation in mainstream fashion. Young Miko is the first openly queer Latina to front a major Gap initiative.
