Before the release, the album was clouded by rumors regarding the use of AI-generated vocals. However, West clarified through social media and statements reported by HotNewHipHop and The Independent that the final version of Bully contains no artificial intelligence tools for his voice. The artist reportedly opted for a more traditional recording process to maintain the raw energy of the songs.
