Kristen Bell is setting the record straight on her paycheck for the upcoming Disney sequels Frozen 3 and Frozen 4. While appearing at the 2026 Actor Awards on March 1, the actress addressed viral rumors claiming she signed a massive $60 million deal to return as Princess Anna. Speaking to reporters on the red carpet, Bell labeled the astronomical figure as "absurd" and "misreported," putting an end to weeks of social media speculation regarding her compensation.

The rumors gained traction following reports that Disney was fast-tracking two sequels simultaneously to capitalize on the franchise's global success. While Bell did not disclose her actual salary, she expressed deep gratitude for her continued partnership with the studio. "I think there’s been a lot misreported about that Frozen deal... that’s somebody making a lot of things up," Bell told Variety via the Tribune Content Agency, "Am I happy to have that job and does it pay very well because it’s a successful franchise? Yes. And I’m so grateful for it."

Disney CEO Bob Iger previously confirmed that both Frozen 3 and Frozen 4 are in active development, with the third installment currently slated for a November 24, 2027 theatrical release. The franchise remains one of Disney's most lucrative properties, with the first two films grossing over $2.7 billion combined at the global box office. Despite the debunked salary figures, fans remain eager for the return of Bell alongside co-stars Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff.
