Disney has officially unveiled its 2026 Disney Legends Class, a prestigious group of icons set to be honored at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The ceremony will take place on August 16 in Anaheim, California, at the Honda Center. This year’s roster celebrates a wide array of talent across film, television, and the Disney Parks, marking one of the most high-profile classes in the history of the award.
The distinguished list of honorees features former CEO Bob Iger, The Princess Diaries star Anne Hathaway, and global superstar Dwayne Johnson. Fans can also look forward to seeing Lin-Manuel Miranda, the Jonas Brothers, and Alan Tudyk receive their legendary status. According to D23, the event will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and will later be available for streaming on Disney+ for fans who cannot attend in person.
Other notable inductees include veteran sports broadcaster Chris Berman, blockbuster producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and Broadway's original Belle, Susan Egan. The class is rounded out by legendary animator Eric Goldberg and Walt Disney Imagineer Kim Irvine. This celebration marks a key highlight of the biennial fan convention, which brings together thousands of enthusiasts to celebrate the history and future of The Walt Disney Company.
