Gainesville is getting a massive cultural upgrade this spring. The Big: Culture & Arts Festival is officially coming to Downtown Gainesville from April 10 to April 12, 2026. This marks the fourth year of the event, but it is the very first time the festival will take over the downtown streets for its diverse programming.
According to a report from News4JAX on March 25, 2026, Grammy-nominated hip-hop heavyweights Earl Sweatshirt and The Alchemist are confirmed as the primary headliners. Their performance is expected to be a major draw for the three-day celebration, which has quickly become a staple of the Florida arts scene.

The festival offers much more than just music. Organizers have scheduled a packed lineup of immersive art installations, professional fashion shows, and circus performers to entertain the crowds. By moving to the downtown corridor, the Big: Culture & Arts Festival aims to provide a more accessible and sprawling experience for thousands of expected attendees.
