Fans rejoice! The iconic duo Gnarls Barkley, comprised of CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse (Brian Burton), has officially broken an 18-year silence, dropping their dreamy new single, 'Pictures,' on Thursday, February 26, 2026. This long-awaited track serves as the lead single from their upcoming third and final album, Atlanta, set to be released on Friday, March 6, 2026.
Atlanta, which will feature 13 tracks, marks the group's first full-length project since 2008's The Odd Couple, following their monumental debut, 2006's multi-platinum St. Elsewhere, which featured the global smash hit 'Crazy.' The album will be released through 10K Projects and Atlantic Records.
CeeLo Green has shared that 'Pictures' is a deeply personal track, drawing inspiration from his childhood experiences riding Atlanta's MARTA public transit system. Green stated, "'Pictures' is like going back to square one. It's a full-circle moment. The spirit of Gnarls Barkley is always self-discovery. The sweet, the sad, and the strange. The universe, the adventure inside of yourself." The duo has confirmed that Atlanta will be the final chapter in the Gnarls Barkley story.
