Lainey Wilson is officially trading her guitar for a script. While attending the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary special premiere on March 23, 2026, the country music sensation told Extra that she is "excited to do more acting." Wilson noted that the transition feels natural, as both songwriting and acting allow her to step into different perspectives to tell a compelling story.

The "Heart Like a Truck" singer is already making good on that promise. Wilson is featured in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel, "Reminders of Him." This new role follows her previous acting debut as Abby on the hit series Yellowstone, further cementing her status as a multi-talented entertainer in the industry.
