ABC announced the revival, which is set to premiere on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, with back-to-back episodes. Fans who can't watch live can rejoice, as new episodes will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.

Original series creator Bill Lawrence is on board as an executive producer, ensuring the show's signature blend of humor and heart remains intact. The revival will consist of nine episodes and promises to blend nostalgic callbacks with fresh elements, revisiting the original characters while introducing new surgical interns to carry the story forward.
