Jennifer Garner is back in action as Apple TV+ prepares the second season of The Last Thing He Told Me. The hit series, produced by Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine and 20th Television, returns after its record-breaking debut as a limited series. Garner reprises her lead role as Hannah Hall, alongside Angourie Rice, who returns as her stepdaughter, Bailey.
The new season picks up after the intense finale of the first installment. Secrets come bubbling back to the surface when Nikolaj Coster-Waldau returns as Owen Michaels, the husband whose mysterious disappearance sparked the original investigation. His sudden presence puts Hannah and Bailey in immediate danger as they navigate a web of past lies that refuse to stay buried.
