Get ready for one last dose of mayhem! Johnny Knoxville, the mastermind behind the long-running Jackass franchise, has confirmed that the upcoming Jackass 5 will be the series' final film. Knoxville ominously teased that the movie is "going to be absolutely awful," suggesting a fittingly chaotic end to two decades of outrageous stunts and pranks.
Scheduled for a theatrical release on June 26, 2026, by Paramount Pictures, Jackass 5 will serve as the fifth main installment in the franchise that began as an MTV show in 2000. Knoxville elaborated on the film's anticipated quality in an interview with Rolling Stone, joking, "You hope it doesn't go well at all! Should be a f***ing train wreck. That's what you should hope for."
Directed and produced by Jeff Tremaine, with Spike Jonze and Knoxville also producing, the film is expected to feature a mix of new stunts, never-before-seen footage, and archival material. Fans can expect to see original crew members including Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Wee Man, Preston Lacy, Dave England, and Danger Ehren. The film will also bring back newer faces introduced in 2022's Jackass Forever, such as Sean "Poopies" McInerney, Zach Holmes, Jasper Dolphin, Eric Manaka, and Rachel Wolfson. While Knoxville himself is medically advised against concussive stunts after a bull incident in the previous film, he hinted that the team is pursuing a "white whale" stunt they've been trying to accomplish for 15 years.
