Disney is trading the castle for the countryside. Walt Disney Records has officially released Main Street Country, a new EP that dropped on April 4, 2025. This project serves as the latest installment in the Mickey & Friends music series, following the 2024 release of the pop-punk cover album, A Whole New Sound.

The EP features a star-studded lineup of Nashville favorites bringing a new twang to iconic movie melodies. Husband-and-wife duo Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown lead the tracklist with a rendition of "A Whole New World" from Aladdin. They are joined by Maddie & Tae, who perform "Colors of the Wind," and Restless Road, who take on the Hercules anthem "Go the Distance."

Rounding out the collection, "Austin" singer Dasha provides a country spin on "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid, while BRELAND offers a fresh version of "The Bare Necessities." This project marks a continued effort by Disney to modernize its classic catalog by partnering with contemporary chart-toppers to reach diverse musical audiences.
