Stepping into the role of the flamboyant showman Harold Zidler, Megan made history as the first female-identifying performer to play the character in any professional production of the musical globally.
Her opening night performance brought the crowd to their feet with a surprise twist during the finale. According to Just Jared, Megan incorporated a medley of her own chart-topping hits into the curtain call, blending her rap style with the show's iconic choreography. This limited engagement is currently scheduled to run through May 17, 2026, alongside cast mate Kelsie Watts, who stars as Satine.
The casting marks a significant milestone for the Tony Award-winning production, which has been a staple on Broadway since 2019. While Megan's run ends in May, the production itself is nearing its conclusion. Playbill confirmed that the Broadway run of 'Moulin Rouge!' is officially slated to close on July 26, 2026, after more than six years of performances.
