Apple TV+ is bringing a powerhouse duo to the small screen. Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington star in Imperfect Women, a new psychological thriller adapted from Araminta Hall’s acclaimed novel. The series is currently in development for the streaming platform. A specific release date and premiere schedule will be announced by Apple TV+ at a later time.

The story centers on a decades-long friendship between three women that begins to fracture after a shocking crime occurs. Annie Weisman, the creator of the hit series Physical, serves as the showrunner and writer for the project. Moss and Washington are also serving as executive producers through their respective production banners, Auntie Pictures and Simpson Street, alongside 20th Television and Apple Studios.

The series boasts a deep roster of talent beyond its leading ladies. While additional casting has not yet been officially confirmed, the project promises a high-stakes exploration of secrets and betrayals. By focusing on the perspectives of all three central characters, the show aims to unpack the complexities of female friendship and the hidden lives people lead behind closed doors.
