This new music is a centerpiece of Canada Soccer’s Perfect Pitch 2026 album, titled WHAT IF IT ALL GOES RIGHT?. The collection, set for a full release on June 5, 2026, features a roster of Canadian stars including Alessia Cara, Charlotte Cardin, and Jessie Reyez. The project aims to provide an anthemic soundtrack for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with proceeds benefiting the Canada Soccer Foundation.
The announcement comes as a surprise to fans following Furtado's declared break from the stage. On October 24, 2025, the singer informed her followers on Instagram that she would be stepping away from live performances "for the foreseeable future" to focus on songwriting and personal growth. While she remains on a performance hiatus, "Electric Circus" signals that her creative output in the studio is far from over.
