Legendary rock icon Ozzy Osbourne is set to be posthumously honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 BRIT Awards this Saturday, February 28. The ceremony, marking its first time outside London, will take place at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester. This special recognition celebrates Osbourne's unparalleled impact on music, acknowledging his legacy as a founding member of Black Sabbath and a trailblazing solo artist.

The evening will culminate in a spectacular all-star tribute performance of Ozzy's 1991 hit, 'No More Tears.' Pop superstar Robbie Williams will front the performance, joined by an impressive lineup of musicians who played in Ozzy's band over the years: keyboardist Adam Wakeman, Metallica's bassist Robert Trujillo, drummer Tommy Clufetos, and guitarist Zakk Wylde. The heartfelt segment has been personally curated by Ozzy's wife, Sharon Osbourne.

Stacey Tang, co-president of RCA Records and chair of the 2026 BRIT Awards committee, praised Osbourne's enduring influence, stating, "Ozzy Osbourne has been a mighty force in modern music. Possessing an unmistakable voice and unique presence, he reshaped the sound and spirit of rock, inspiring generations of artists who followed. This Lifetime Achievement Award recognises a remarkable legacy built on originality and enduring influence, that continues to connect with fans worldwide." The 'Prince of Darkness' passed away on July 22, 2025, at 76 years old. This recognition follows a similar posthumous tribute at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards earlier this month.
