Renee Wilm, a long-standing executive at Liberty Media Corporation, will transition from her roles as Chief Legal Officer and Chief Administrative Officer to become a Senior Advisor later this year. This move was announced by Liberty Media on March 5, 2026, marking a new chapter for the influential leader who has been integral to the company's operations for nearly three decades.
In her new capacity, Wilm will continue to offer strategic guidance to the leadership teams of Liberty Media, Liberty Live, and Liberty Broadband. She will also retain her position as Chief Legal Officer with GCI Liberty, Inc. Wilm has served as Liberty's Chief Legal Officer since 2019 and previously worked as outside counsel to the company for over two decades, helping navigate numerous transformational transactions.
One of Wilm's significant achievements includes spearheading the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. She served as its President and CEO from its inception until its integration with the global F1 organization in January 2025. âIt has been a privilege to be part of the Liberty legacy for almost 30 years, and I am truly proud of everything we have accomplished,â Wilm stated. âAs we look ahead, I am excited to continue supporting this talented team in a different role.â Derek Chang, President and CEO of Liberty Media, acknowledged her contributions, saying, âRenee has been a valued partner to Liberty for decades. We are deeply grateful for her leadership and dedication, and we look forward to continuing to benefit from her counsel in this next chapter.â
