FOX Entertainment Studios is doubling down on its partnership with River Gallo. The studio officially signed a first-look deal with the multi-hyphenate writer, actor, and creator. This new agreement spans both scripted television and motion picture projects, allowing Gallo to develop fresh content across multiple platforms.

The deal builds on a successful existing relationship between the two parties. Gallo’s critically acclaimed film, Ponyboi, served as the first feature produced under Tideline, the independent film label for FOX Entertainment Studios. The film gained significant attention after its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2024.

Hannah Pillemer, Head of Scripted for FOX Entertainment Studios, will oversee the collaboration. Gallo is an award-winning intersex creator known for championing unique perspectives in the industry. Under this new pact, the studio and Gallo aim to create innovative stories that resonate with modern audiences through Gallo's distinct creative lens.
