Oscar-nominated director Jan Komasa is officially bringing his latest provocation to the masses. Heel, a psychological thriller starring Stephen Graham and Andrea Riseborough, arrives in theaters and on digital platforms today, March 6, 2026. Originally titled Good Boy, the film marks a sharp turn for the Corpus Christi filmmaker into the realms of dark humor and domestic horror.

The plot centers on a couple, played by Graham and Riseborough, who take a delinquent teenager captive in an attempt to subject him to a radical "rehabilitation" program. The film captures a claustrophobic and intense dynamic that challenges audience perceptions of morality. Critics at The A.V. Club have already praised the performances within the film's increasingly disturbing script.

Distributed in the U.S. by Magnolia Pictures and Magnet Releasing, and in the U.K. by Signature Entertainment, the project explores the lengths people will go to in order to enforce their own versions of discipline. Reviews from Mashable highlight the film's 'comedic cheek of a midnight movie'. Heel is now available for nationwide audiences, offering what Flickering Myth describes as 'relentlessly bleak fun'.
