Get ready to check your monthly bills, streamers! Several popular platforms, including Spotify, Paramount+, and Crunchyroll, have officially raised their subscription prices in early 2026, impacting users across music and video services. This trend of increasing costs reflects a broader shift in the streaming industry as companies look to boost revenue.
Music lovers using Spotify's Premium plan in the US are now paying more. The individual Premium subscription increased to $12.99 per month, with other subscription tiers also seeing adjustments, effective in February 2026. This marks another price hike for the audio giant, following previous increases.
For video content, Paramount+ also rolled out new pricing structures. As of January 15, 2026, the Essential plan for Paramount+ now costs $8.99 per month, while the Premium tier has been raised to $13.99 per month. This change comes as the service continues to expand its content library and live sports offerings.
Anime fans aren't immune to the changes, with Crunchyroll increasing prices across all its US subscription plans. The popular Fan Tier is now priced at $9.99 per month. These new prices were effective immediately for new subscribers, with existing subscribers seeing the increase applied from March 4, 2026.
