Twice is officially a decade into their legendary career, and they aren't slowing down. Following the release of their 10th-anniversary album, TEN: The Story Goes On, on October 10, 2025, the group has reached new heights on the global stage. The album, released via JYP Entertainment and Republic Records, debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 and featured solo tracks for all nine members, showcasing their artistic evolution beyond their signature bubblegum pop sound.
Much of the recent buzz centers on the group's massive contribution to the Netflix animated hit KPop Demon Hunters. The film, co-directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, has become the platform's most-watched original movie of all time, amassing 325.1 million views in its first 91 days. Its soundtrack, which features Twiceâs hit "Strategy" and a powerful version of "Takedown" by Jihyo, Jeongyeon, and Chaeyoung, made history as the highest-charting soundtrack of 2025.
In a March 2 interview with The Washington Post, the group reflected on their longevity and the film's two upcoming Oscar nominations for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song. Jihyo admitted that while the group has "consistently and diligently" worked for ten years, she is still exploring her own definition of success. Jeongyeon noted that recording the high-energy track "Takedown" brought back memories of her trainee days, marking a creative shift for the usually "bright and cute" ensemble.
