It has been 25 years since audiences first saw Harry Potter enter the Great Hall, and Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is inviting fans to follow in his footsteps. The studio recently announced a major new summer feature titled First Year at Hogwarts, which officially opens on May 7, 2026. This special event commemorates the silver anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the film that launched the global phenomenon in 2001.

Visitors will experience brand-new immersive displays designed to replicate iconic moments from the first movie. According to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, the Great Hall will be dressed for the "End of Term Feast," complete with a showcase of the House Cup. Fans can also witness the "Sorting Hat ceremony" up close, featuring the original stool and hat used to place students into their respective houses.

The update also introduces a new live show called Secrets of Sound Effects. This production aims to pull back the curtain on the Foley artists who created the magical noises heard in director Chris Columbus’s original film. This limited-time event runs through September 7, 2026, offering a unique look at the craftsmanship behind the franchise's cinematic debut.
