Zazie Beetz is trading superhero suits for a housekeeper’s uniform in the new horror-comedy They Will Kill You. The film is set to premiere at the SXSW 2026 Film & TV Festival, drawing crowds eager for a mix of laughs and gore. Directed by Kirill Sokolov, the movie features Beetz as a woman who takes a job in a mysterious New York City high-rise, only to find the "amenities" include ritualistic human sacrifice.

The project marks a significant collaboration between New Line Cinema and Skydance. It is the first feature from Nocturna Pictures, the genre-focused label founded by It filmmakers Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti. Sokolov, who gained international attention for Why Don’t You Just Die!, co-wrote the script with Alex Litvak.
