Fans of the King of Pop can finally secure their spot for the most anticipated film of the year. Tickets for early access screenings of Michael officially went on sale today, March 11, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT. These special one-night-only events are scheduled for April 22, 2026, giving audiences a chance to see the film two days before its global debut.

The screenings will take place in premium formats, including IMAX and Dolby Cinema, at participating theaters across the country. According to Fandango and Showcase Cinemas, these early showings are designed to give dedicated fans the first look at Jaafar Jackson’s portrayal of his uncle. The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua and produced by Graham King, the Oscar-winning producer behind Bohemian Rhapsody.

Distributed by Lionsgate in the U.S. and Universal Pictures International abroad, Michael covers the complex life and career of the legendary performer. The massive production also stars Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson and Nia Long as Katherine Jackson. Following the April 22 sneak previews, the film will move into wide release on April 24, 2026.
