Country music fans can once again hear the iconic voice of Bob Kingsley through their speakers. iHeartMedia officially launched Bob Kingsley’s Countdown Classics on March 19, a date chosen to honor what would have been the legendary broadcaster’s 85th birthday. The digital station provides a 24/7 destination for listeners to relive the history of the genre through original broadcasts of Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40.

This new streaming home is the result of a partnership between iHeartRadio, The Kingsley Estate, and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Nan Kingsley, Bob’s widow and president of KCCS Productions, emphasized that the station serves as a tribute to Bob’s deep love for the artists and the stories behind the music. The archives included in the programming span over four decades, capturing the definitive moments of country music from the 1970s through the 2010s.

Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer for iHeartMedia, noted that Kingsley was a cornerstone of the industry who connected millions of listeners to their favorite stars. By utilizing the extensive CT40 library, the station offers more than just music; it features Kingsley’s hallmark interviews and the storytelling that earned him a place in the National Radio Hall of Fame. Fans can now access the station for free via the iHeartRadio app and website.
