Amazon Prime Video is finally bringing back the Emmy-nominated hit Jury Duty, but the courtroom is being swapped for a corporate office. The streaming service officially announced that the second installment, titled Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, will premiere on March 20, 2026. This season shifts the focus from a legal trial to a high-stakes business environment involving an elaborate prank.
The upcoming season centers on an unsuspecting temporary worker named Anthony. Much like Ronald Gladden in the series' breakout first season, Anthony believes he is filming a standard documentary about his experience working for a hot sauce company. He is entirely unaware that his colleagues and the company’s leadership are professional actors orchestrating a massive hoax. According to reports from Variety and TV Insider, the production involves a detailed set-up where Anthony must navigate a series of increasingly absurd workplace challenges.
The plot reaches a boiling point when Anthony finds himself in the middle of a staged corporate takeover. Producers Cody Heller and Andrew Weinberg have returned to oversee the production, which aims to replicate the "hero's journey" format that made the original show a viral sensation. By the time the finale arrives, Anthony will have to decide how to handle the chaos of a business in flux, all while being the only real person in a scripted world.
