The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame officially unveiled its list of nominees for the Class of 2026 on February 25, 2026. The ballot features a heavy-hitting lineup of music icons, including Mariah Carey, Phil Collins, Sade, and Oasis. While Phil Collins was previously inducted as a member of Genesis in 2010, this nomination marks a major milestone for his legendary solo career.
Music fans can now have their say through the official "Fan Vote" hosted on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame website. This public tally will create a "fan's ballot" that is counted alongside the votes of more than 1,000 artists, historians, and industry professionals. For Mariah Carey and Oasis, this year represents a renewed chance for induction following their previous appearances on the ballot.
To be eligible for a nomination, an artist or band must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination. The final list of 2026 inductees is scheduled to be revealed in April. According to reports from CBS News and FOX 13 Seattle, the winners will be celebrated at an official induction ceremony later this year.
