Disney and Marvel Studios are refining their long-term plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a series of significant calendar shifts. According to the latest update to the studio's release schedule, an untitled Marvel project originally slated for February 18, 2028, has been pushed back to July 28, 2028. This move places the mystery film in a prime summer corridor traditionally reserved for major blockbusters.
The scheduling update also involves a removal from the slate. A Marvel movie that was previously scheduled for November 10, 2028, has been taken off the calendar entirely. While no specific titles were attached to these dates, the adjustments indicate a more focused approach to the studio's output as they navigate the upcoming phases of the MCU.
Looking even further ahead, Disney has officially staked out two brand-new dates for 2029. Two untitled Marvel movies are now scheduled to hit theaters on May 4, 2029, and July 13, 2029. These additions mark the first time the studio has scheduled projects that far into the future, ensuring the franchise remains a theatrical staple through the end of the decade.
