Nintendo and Universal are blasting off into the cosmos. The companies officially revealed a massive marketing blitz for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie today, March 5, 2026. This global initiative kicks off the annual MAR10 Day celebrations and promises to bring the Mushroom Kingdom's space adventure to life across multiple platforms.
Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort will serve as the physical hubs for the festivities. According to NBCUniversal, the parks are introducing limited-time experiences including meet-and-greets with Yoshi and galaxy-themed food menus. Fans can also purchase exclusive merchandise, such as interactive Luma “shoulder pals” that react to their surroundings while worn through the parks.
The celebration extends to digital storefronts as well. IGN reports that Nintendo is offering significant discounts on its library of Mario-themed Nintendo Switch titles to coincide with the movie’s promotion. Additionally, My Nintendo News confirmed that fans can participate in special missions to earn rewards as part of the 2026 MAR10 Day event schedule.
